Although there are only a handful of art galleries to be found within Stratford upon Avon itself, there are a number of further venues to be found close by, in the neighbouring town of Broadway. Located within the Stratford Leisure and Visitor Centre, the 'Gallery' surprisingly boasts exhibits by some of the country's foremost contemporary artists.

Home to an impressive collection of modern paintings and sculptures, the Montpellier Gallery stands on Chapel Street and features three main exhibition spaces. Next door to Stratford upon Avon and in Leamington Spa, the Royal Pump Rooms may also be of interest to art lovers and museum-goers alike.

The Country Artists Visitor Centre and Factory Shop is a good place to meet working artists and observe them as they paint and sculpt. Founded some 25 years ago, this attraction offers the chance to purchase some very inexpensive art works and ornaments from the factory shop, while guided tours of the studio are also of note.

The Royal Pump Rooms of Leamington Spa date back almost 200 years and are home to an interesting collection of historical attractions. Although the architecture itself is particularly impressive, inside the Turkish room and remnants of the Victorian spa facilities are always of interest. Other highlights include an art gallery, museum area, large library, various events and tea rooms with pleasant views.
